The Valet role at ABM focuses on delivering professional, courteous, and compassionate guest services, playing a crucial part in the first and last impressions guests receive. Valets at ABM are responsible for managing the safe and efficient flow of traffic, assisting guests with vehicle loading and unloading, and safeguarding guests’ keys and vehicles. They operate both standard and automatic transmission vehicles while adhering to all facility policies, traffic laws, and pedestrian regulations to ensure safety above all else.
Valets also handle the processing of various payments, maintain accurate records of daily revenue, and manage tip distribution within the team. The position requires excellent communication skills to effectively explain valet procedures and address guest inquiries, along with the ability to identify and address peak traffic periods by coordinating additional support. This role demands working outdoors in all weather conditions for extended periods, necessitating stamina, reliability, and a positive, friendly demeanor while interacting with guests.
