The role of Marlin Bar Assistant Manager is critical to the success of the Marlin Bar restaurant operation. This position entails a blend of leadership, operational oversight, staff development, and customer engagement responsibilities, designed to uphold and elevate the Tommy Bahama hospitality standards. The Assistant Manager supports the Marlin Bar Manager in executing strategies that promote high-quality guest service experiences, effective team collaboration, and sound business results. - Must be 18 years of age or older
- Minimum of 3 years of food and beverage experience with leadership preferred
- Current food handler's card
- Alcohol service certification as required by law
- Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel frequently
- Ability to climb ladders occasionally
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours per shift
- Willingness to travel for training and assistance at other locations
