The position primarily involves crucial ground support tasks such as marshalling aircraft safely in and out of gates, efficiently loading, unloading, and sorting baggage, and carrying out cleaning and restocking of aircraft. Additionally, employees are involved in important safety functions like de-icing aircraft during cold weather, conducting inspections, and hazard checks to maintain secure and smooth ramp operations. The role also requires the operation of critical ramp equipment including stairs, bridges, bag tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors, ensuring the full functionality of ground services.
