This role is an exciting opportunity within a local Michaels store located in Springfield, PA. The position focuses on event coordination, customer experience, and operational support, designed to create a fun, engaging, and stress-free atmosphere for customers of all ages. The core responsibility involves planning, coordinating, and facilitating multiple events, such as children’s birthday parties and craft classes, while maintaining the store's high service and operational standards. The candidate will engage clients of varied ages by fostering an environment filled with creativity and excitement, demonstrating craft projects, performing face painting, and overseeing party add-ons like goody bags and balloons. Effective communication with clients and store team members to ensure all events meet company standards and client needs is essential. Beyond event coordination, the role involves delivering friendly customer service by assisting shoppers with product location and providing solutions tailored to their needs. The role demands a fast and efficient checkout process and active participation in the store’s operational tasks, such as unloading trucks, stocking merchandise, maintaining recovery standards, and supporting shrink and safety programs.
