The Housekeeper role at Notre Dame Health Care Center offers both full-time and per diem employment opportunities. Housekeepers are responsible for a variety of cleaning and maintenance duties within the nursing home, predominantly during daytime hours. As a Housekeeper, you will be tasked with general housekeeping responsibilities such as collecting and disposing of trash according to approved procedures and infection control protocols, cleaning resident and employee areas including bathrooms, and ensuring floors are dusted and damp mopped appropriately. You will also handle moving equipment and furniture effectively to clean underneath and around them, then replacing items in their correct positions. Additional duties include washing walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards to uphold the facility's cleanliness.

This responsibility is vital to maintaining the safe environment expected in a healthcare setting.
