The Public Area Attendant role is a full-time position based at the Tucson hotel facility, with shifts available at any time to ensure the hotel’s public spaces are always pristine. Working under the direct supervision of the Floor Supervisor, the Public Area Attendant is responsible for the cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel's public areas including meeting rooms, restrooms, offices, elevators, hallways, and the pool area. This role requires using various cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and effectively, performing duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, carpet cleaning, dusting, polishing, and replenishing bathroom amenities.
Responsibilities extend beyond simple cleaning tasks to include moving furniture, hanging drapes, emptying wastebaskets, and assisting in the delivery of guest amenities such as rollaway beds and cribs. The attendant also monitors maintenance needs by filling out requests for repairs and ensures that all public spaces comply with safety standards. This position demands physical stamina to handle extended periods of standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Working conditions include exposure to chemicals, dust, bio-hazards, and potentially second-hand smoke, highlighting the need for strict adherence to safety protocols.

- Six months experience in hotel housekeeping preferred
- Must be 18 years of age or older

- Ability to communicate, read, and write clearly in basic English
