The role of the Prepared Foods Lead is a key leadership position within this department. Reporting to the Prepared Foods Team Leader and Assistant Team Leader, this position plays a vital role in managing production operations, ensuring consistent food safety, quality control, and merchandising standards. The role focuses heavily on sales generation, labor and expense management, personnel development, and customer service excellence. The Prepared Foods Lead works closely with team members to maintain high standards in product preparation, labeling accuracy, and inventory control while fostering an engaging shopping experience for customers through creative product displays.\n\nIn addition to operational responsibilities, the Prepared Foods Lead serves as an educator and ambassador for the culinary aspects of the department. This includes coaching team members on recipe execution, ingredient knowledge, portion control, and effective communication with customers about product choices and meal solutions. The leader also ensures compliance with food safety regulations such as HACCP and Department of Health guidelines and actively participates in team member training, performance feedback, and motivation to maintain a productive and positive work environment. The position offers competitive pay, with wages ranging from $21.30 to $25.15 per hour, and is classified as part-time employment. - Minimum two years chef, sous chef, or direct kitchen management experience
- Minimum three years customer service experience

- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Proven sales generation and expense management capabilities
