We are currently seeking a dynamic and skilled Traveling Chef to join our team. This full-time role, based in Montgomery, OH with additional work in Cincinnati, OH, offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $65,000 per year. As a Traveling Chef, you will be entrusted with preparing and delivering high-quality, delicious Italian meals across multiple restaurant locations. You will be responsible for managing a scratch kitchen environment, studying and adapting recipes, overseeing inventory, and collaboratively setting up menus that appeal to our diverse clientele. Your leadership will be key in hiring and delegating tasks to kitchen staff, ensuring that meals are prepared efficiently and presented attractively. The position demands an individual well-versed in advanced cooking techniques and familiar with the latest sanitation regulations to guarantee the safety and satisfaction of our guests.
In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to experiment with recipes and propose new ingredients, contributing creatively to our menu development. Your ability to slightly modify recipes to accommodate customer preferences and dietary needs, such as reducing salt or removing dairy, will enhance our customer experience. Supervising the kitchen team and maintaining compliance with health and safety standards form core aspects of your responsibilities. - Proven work experience as a chef or cook
- Experience with scratch kitchen operations
