We collaborate closely with other specialty departments including pipeline and facility design and water resources engineering to provide comprehensive civil engineering solutions. We are currently seeking a senior project manager and civil lead to join our growing Alaska transportation team. This key role is designed for a self-driven professional committed to excellence in client service and design work product. The position offers an exciting opportunity to lead and expand our transportation design practice within Alaska, while also working on projects across our other offices in the United States. As a senior project manager and civil lead, you will be at the heart of managing complex transportation projects ranging from highways and bridges to aviation and rail systems. This role demands a high level of technical expertise, leadership, and business acumen to ensure that our projects meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality expectations. Your responsibilities will include managing projects throughout their lifecycle including scope development, scheduling, budgeting, and overseeing the production of bid-ready plans. You will be the technical lead on design projects, driving design calculations, modeling, and overall direction. Ensuring quality control and delivery excellence will be fundamental aspects of your role. Additionally, you will provide leadership to multi-disciplined teams, mentoring younger engineers and technicians, and fostering a collaborative environment. Beyond project execution, this position involves supporting business development efforts through identifying new opportunities, preparing proposals, and maintaining strong client relationships to promote the growth of our Alaska business segment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $115,000 to $200,000, reflecting the candidate’s experience and expertise.   • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar
  • Licensed professional engineer in Alaska
  • Minimum 10 years of technical design experience
  • At least 5 years of supervisory experience
  • Experience in design/build or alternative project delivery preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead diverse teams
  • Established and willing to build client relationships
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, Blue Beam
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD/Civil 3D and GIS a plus
