The Fort Lauderdale Aviation team at Kimley-Horn is currently seeking a seasoned engineer or landside planner with over five years of relevant experience to join their expanding aviation practice. Collaboration with project managers and team members in supporting general planning tasks will be a key component of this role. The successful candidate will have the chance to contribute to multi-modal transportation systems planning through comprehensive data collection, technical analysis, and report generation. Key duties will involve supporting all stages of transportation planning projects, from initial data gathering and needs identification to visioning, goal setting, strategy development, prioritization, cost estimating, and preparing technical and public-facing documentation and presentations.   • 5+ years of experience in engineering or landside planning
  • Bachelors or masters degree in a relevant field
  • Preferred PE or AICP certification
  • Proficient in graphic software programs including Adobe Photoshop, Sketchup, InDesign, Illustrator
  • Familiarity with GIS and ArcView
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and positive attitude
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently or collaboratively
