The position offered is an administrative role within Penske Logistics located in Denver, Colorado. This role involves critical support for fleet and driver operations, focusing on tasks like pallet tracking, auditing driver logs and trip reports, and DOT requirements compliance. Additionally, the role acts as a liaison for internal customer support, ensuring smooth communication and resolution of issues. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday, from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM, with a compensation package starting at $23.00 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Major responsibilities include various office and administrative duties such as handling accounts payable/receivable, collections, payroll, fuel reconciliation, billing, maintaining databases, and generating reports. The candidate will also manage the audit of logs and trip reports for DOT regulations, maintain filing systems, interact with customers to resolve driver equipment requests, and conduct pallet tracking in accordance with customer instructions. Responsibilities further extend to maintaining and distributing route books, coordinating driver coverage for vacations and overflow freight, and involving the Safety team when required. This position demands an ability to prioritize workload dynamically, maintain confidentiality, and execute additional projects as assigned by supervisors. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of two years of general office experience combined with one year of customer service experience. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, alongside advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Experience with AS400 systems is preferred. Regular, predictable full attendance is essential, as is the willingness to travel as necessary and comply with the employer's background investigation and drug screening policies. The physical and mental demands of this role include the ability to read, communicate verbally and in writing, analyze information, and understand instructions. The candidate must be capable of standing, walking, sitting, using hands to touch, handle, feel, reach, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Visual requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
