The Guest Relations position at Traders Village is a pivotal role focused on providing exceptional customer service as it often serves as the first point of contact for all visitors. This part-time opportunity involves welcoming guests warmly, answering inquiries, managing reservation and payment systems, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for everyone who comes through the doors. The role requires an individual who embodies a professional yet friendly demeanor, capable of handling cash transactions accurately, and maintaining an organized and tidy office space. This position works every other weekend with hours on Saturday and Sunday from 7 AM to 6 PM, catering to the busiest times at the flea market.
In this role, the guest relations team member will engage directly with customers, providing information about the flea market, RV park, and self-storage facilities, addressing questions both in person and via telephone. They will also be adept at learning and using multiple payment systems, reflecting the diverse offerings and services at Traders Village. The physical demands of this job include standing for long periods, working in varying weather conditions, lifting up to 10 pounds, and operating basic office equipment.
