The position available at the SpartanNash retail location at 3548 Q Street, Omaha, Nebraska, calls for a motivated individual to join the bakery team. This role is integral in managing the end-to-end bakery operations, including baking, frying, decorating, packaging, displaying, and stocking bakery products. The ideal candidate will work independently and efficiently, ensuring all products meet quality standards and contribute positively to the store's financial objectives. The role combines hands-on bakery duties with customer service and merchandising responsibilities, requiring a balance of technical baking skills and an understanding of retail operations.
Key responsibilities include adhering to a production schedule for baking and frying, properly handling all bakery goods with attention to freshness and presentation, and maintaining attractive, well-stocked bakery displays. This individual will also assist with receiving and stocking merchandise and should be familiar with the range of bakery products in terms of pricing, taste, preparation, and use. A strong focus on cleanliness, safety, food standards, and guest experience is essential. Additionally, the position may involve cross-departmental tasks to support overall customer service goals. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that SpartanNash’s bakery department runs smoothly and contributes to a welcoming and satisfying shopping experience for guests.
