This role, based in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, is for a Regional CDL B Driver with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements to join the Airgas National Carbonation Regional Floater Driver team. This position offers a unique opportunity to work a second shift schedule, Tuesday through Saturday from 6:00 PM, with a competitive pay rate of $27.00 per hour. The role requires flexibility, including coverage on night shifts, day shifts, and weekends as needed to support business and colleague needs. The driver will serve a broad regional area including parts of South Carolina, Virginia, and North Carolina, traveling 25% to 50% of the time. The company covers travel-related expenses such as hotels, flights, and car rentals when applicable. 
Key responsibilities include conducting thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle evaluations, completing required documentation accurately, and executing planned service routes for the safe and efficient delivery of CO2 products. This position demands manual handling skills, including lifting up to 60 pounds and maneuvering equipment weighing up to 500 pounds with a hand truck, climbing ladders up to 14 feet tall, and operating battery and electric-powered tools. Strong customer service orientation is essential, maintaining professionalism in all daily interactions. Drivers must keep accurate logs, reports, and records of deliveries, mileage, and other relevant data. Experience with reading blueprints and specialty gas knowledge are beneficial, though not mandatory. 
To qualify, candidates must possess an active CDL B license with valid Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, and have at least one year of commercial motor vehicle experience within the last four years. Candidates must be at least 22 years old, have a clean driving record with no preventable accidents in the past three years, and meet strict ticket and violation history criteria, including no serious violations or DUI offenses within the stipulated timeframes. High school diploma or GED is preferred.
