The General Manager (GM) position at Thorntons is a pivotal leadership role that oversees all facets of store operations to ensure excellence in guest service and financial performance. • High school diploma or GED
• Minimum three years single-unit management experience in retail and/or food and beverage industries
• Ability to drive a safety culture and ensure compliance with safety procedures
• Proven ability to manage financial performance and inventory control
• Strong delegation and team management skills
• Ability to recruit, hire, and schedule employees with adherence to labor regulations
• Reliable transportation
• Physical ability to perform lifting, standing, and other physical activities
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Ability to obtain food safety and handling certification if not possessed upon hire
