The Arts & Enrichment Instructor I - II (Part-Time) role offers a unique opportunity for passionate educators who thrive on enriching the lives of others through arts and educational programming. This position focuses on delivering high-quality arts and enrichment classes to participants of all ages in both group and individual formats. The classes cover a wide range of creative and developmental areas including fine arts such as painting, ceramics, printmaking, drawing, and mixed media, as well as performing arts disciplines like drama, dance, and music. In addition, the instructor will have the chance to teach diverse enrichment topics including science, writing, culinary arts, travel, continuing education, and specialized courses designed specifically for active adults, parents with children, and toddler programs. The role also involves teaching at birthday parties and special events offsite, adding variety and community connection to the instructional experience. Candidates are expected to come prepared, be innovative, and energize participants all while ensuring a safe, nurturing learning environment. The pay rate ranges from $17.05 to $22.75 per hour depending on the level of experience and certification. This is an ongoing recruitment with a rolling review process, making it accessible for enthusiastic individuals seeking part-time engagement. The ideal candidate will have prior teaching experience, excellent communication skills, CPR/AED and First Aid certifications preferred, and a positive approach to collaboration with staff, parents, and participants. - must have at least one year of teaching experience for Instructor I and three years for Instructor II
