The Server Assistant role at Invited is an essential part of the front-of-house team and contributes directly to the smooth and efficient operation of the dining experience for members and guests. This position supports the delivery of quality food and beverage service by assisting servers, maintaining dining area cleanliness, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The Server Assistant will help set up and break down dining areas, restock supplies, and provide prompt assistance to members and guests, all while upholding the highest service standards.
Serving as a critical support position, the Server Assistant collaborates closely with food and beverage directors, banquet managers, and restaurant managers to meet the club's operational goals. Candidates in this role must be prepared to engage in various service-related tasks, including answering basic inquiries about the menu and specials, assisting with member requests and complaints, and supporting special events and large parties. The role demands flexibility and a willingness to assist with additional duties as assigned to ensure a seamless and enjoyable dining experience.
The ideal candidate for the Server Assistant position should have a high school diploma or equivalent and exhibit strong communication skills, a positive and friendly attitude, and the ability to work well within a team. Previous experience in food and beverage service, along with certifications such as Food Handler and Alcohol Server, are preferred. The role also requires the physical ability to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, lifting, and working in different environmental conditions.
