BabsonARTS at Babson College presents a vibrant array of programming spanning theater, dance, music, film, literary arts, and visual arts. The role of the Theater Technician is pivotal to the success of these events. This position, based at the Sorenson Center for the Arts, involves managing technical operations, maintaining safety standards, and supporting diverse performing arts productions. Theater Technicians play a dynamic role that includes equipment setup and maintenance, lighting and sound design support, supervising backstage operations, and training students in a hands-on environment. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly wage of $25.75 and includes paid sick leave in accordance with state and local regulations. The role is ideal for individuals with a passion for the performing arts and the technical expertise required to ensure smooth, professional event execution.
