The Food & Beverage Manager role at The Lenox Hotel is a pivotal position within this esteemed institution, responsible for upholding the hotel's commitment to quality and service in its dining and event facilities. The successful candidate will oversee the operations of three distinct restaurant outlets and extensive banquet spaces that accommodate a variety of social and corporate events, including elegant weddings. These outlets include Sweeney's on Boylston, known for its lively atmosphere and authentic Irish cuisine; The Irving at The Lenox, a sophisticated lobby cocktail bar offering classic and innovative drinks; and Willow & Ivy, a restaurant helmed by the Executive Chef featuring refined New England-inspired American cuisine.
In this leadership role, the Food & Beverage Manager will be entrusted with creating a warm and inviting environment for guests and team members alike. This involves managing and motivating a diverse team of food and beverage professionals, ensuring exemplary service standards, coordinating schedules, and fostering a collaborative workplace culture. - 5 years of experience in food and beverage experience preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant environment
- 1 year of management experience in a hotel or restaurant
- strong leadership skills
- excellent organizational and time-management abilities
- proficiency in Microsoft Office and Toast and Opera a plus
- exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
