The Front Office Curator role at The Barfield is a highly visible and impactful position, essential to creating an exceptional guest experience from the moment guests arrive until they depart. Reporting directly to the Front Office Manager, this non-exempt position serves as the hotel's primary point of contact for guests, visitors, and staff. The main focus is on welcoming and accommodating guests warmly and courteously while efficiently overseeing the guest registration and check-out processes. The Curator also plays a crucial role in promoting the hotel's services and amenities, as well as providing valuable information about the property and the surrounding Amarillo area. This position requires a true desire to meet and exceed the needs of guests in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The Front Office Curator is responsible for setting up accurate accounts according to guest preferences, accommodating room changes promptly, and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of all hotel offerings, including rates, promotions, room types, and the historical significance of the property. Additionally, the Curator acts as a resource to acquaint guests with local attractions, community events, and points of interest, enhancing the overall guest experience.
