The role of Tasting Room Sales & Hospitality Associate is an energetic, people-focused position perfect for those with a love of wine and a passion for hospitality. This part-time role offers up to 30 hours per week, with a requirement of at least two full weekends (four individual weekend days) each month, as well as select weekdays and occasional evenings to support special events or off-site wine pouring opportunities. The position provides an exciting chance to engage with visitors, share the story and varieties of Pennsylvania wines, and promote wine club memberships, fostering a vibrant and loyal customer base.
Associates are expected to provide exemplary hospitality, ensuring guests have an unforgettable experience through friendly, professional interactions and extensive knowledge about the winery and its offerings. Sales skills are essential, particularly in promoting wine club memberships which are vital to the winery’s relationship-building efforts. The role also requires collaboration with other team members, balanced with the ability to work independently to maintain a smooth operation within the tasting room. In addition to direct guest engagement, responsibilities include answering customer inquiries by phone, representing the winery at outside events, and maintaining cleanliness and merchandising displays in the tasting room.

Training is comprehensive, including instruction in the Responsible Alcohol Management Program (RAMP), ensuring associates are well-prepared to serve responsibly and professionally.
