We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a creative and driven Executive Chef to join our passionate and dynamic culinary team. As the Executive Chef at The Scarlet, you will play a critical leadership role overseeing all culinary operations, including menu development, food quality, kitchen management, and ensuring that each guest enjoys an extraordinary dining experience. The Executive Chef will be responsible for elevating our kitchen’s standards, setting high expectations, and leading by example to maintain top-quality food preparation and presentation aligned with sanitation and safety standards. Your creativity will be key in developing innovative menus that excite and delight guests while also understanding and managing financial goals. This role requires excellent communication skills to effectively engage with team members and the public. Successful candidates will have significant kitchen management and cooking experience, ideally complemented by a culinary or hospitality education. Physical stamina to work extended hours and manage the demands of a fast-paced, high-energy kitchen environment is essential.

- 4 plus years kitchen management experience
- 5 plus years cooking experience
- College degree or certification in culinary or hospitality field preferred
- Good working knowledge of sanitation standards and proper preparation and presentation of food and beverages
- Ability to understand financial goals and accomplish them
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public and team members
- Proven ability to effectively lead and train a diverse workforce
- Willingness to set a high standard in the kitchen through leading by example
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 100 pounds
- Ability to work extended hours when business necessitates in humid and or extreme temperatures
