This position is for a Second (2nd) Shift Tasker at DHL Supply Chain, offering a competitive hourly wage of $23.00 plus an additional $0.75 shift differential. The working hours for this role are from 1:30 PM to 9:30 PM, Monday through Friday, providing a consistent schedule for work-life balance. The role is integral to the smooth operation of warehouse activities, focusing primarily on inventory control and transactional accuracy.
As a 2nd Shift Tasker, you will be responsible for expediting transactions within the warehouse management system, playing a critical role in the coordination between customers, carriers, and warehouse associates. This role supports various warehouse functions including outbound, inbound, and parcel operations. You will manage daily tasks such as cycle counts, inventory discrepancy reporting, receiving and monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of order waves.
The ideal candidate will have at least six months of experience in inventory control with hands-on knowledge in cycle counting, discrepancy reporting, and inventory management. Additionally, strong skills in prioritizing, scheduling, and planning tasks across departments are essential for success in this role. You will also be responsible for freight and truck scheduling, inbound and outbound shipment coordination, and maintaining accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs). Effective cross-departmental communication is crucial, requiring you to work closely with shipping, receiving, and freight teams.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months experience in inventory control including cycle counting, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels
- Prioritize, schedule, and plan tasks for assigned department
- Coordinate freight and truck scheduling for inbound/outbound shipments
- Maintain accurate Bills of Lading (BOLs)
- Coordinate tasks and schedules across shipping, receiving, inbound and outbound freight departments
- 0-1 years experience in data entry and/or dispatch
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel
