The Food & Beverage team works closely together to manage everything from fresh produce to bakery items, ensuring that the department remains a destination for quality food products. In this position, no two days are alike. The Food & Beverage Expert engages with guests by offering product information, purchasing advice, and storage tips, enhancing the overall shopping experience. This role requires active involvement in monitoring food freshness and quality, executing safety and sanitation procedures, and managing promotional displays and pricing strategies to drive sales. The expert will also collaborate with vendors and assist in keeping the sales floor and backroom organized and compliant with policies. The ability to handle operational tasks such as rotation, culling, signing, and merchandising is essential to maintain department standards. Target provides a training program designed to equip new Food & Beverage Experts with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this role. • ability to work in environments ranging from 34F to -10F as needed
• ability to work in spaces where common allergens may be handled or present
• capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures humidity and other elements
