This role is for a Kitchen Manager / Chef, a pivotal leadership position within the restaurant's back-of-house operations. Reporting directly to the Managing Partner and Regional leadership, the Kitchen Manager / Chef plays a critical role in ensuring efficient and effective restaurant operations. This individual is responsible for managing all back-of-house functions, including mentoring and developing a strong team of kitchen staff, upholding the highest standards of food safety, sanitation, and quality, and maintaining compliance with all health regulations. The ideal candidate not only brings strong organizational and communication skills but also embodies a leadership style that motivates and supports team members to perform at their best. This role requires a multitasker with a proactive attitude who can operate in a fast-paced environment while maintaining exceptional standards. The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to handle a broad array of responsibilities ranging from overseeing food preparation to managing inventory and ensuring cleanliness standards. They must be comfortable delegating tasks, giving clear direction, and holding staff accountable while fostering a positive and collaborative culture. An important aspect of this role is training and supporting back-of-house personnel to ensure consistent delivery of excellent culinary experiences. The Kitchen Manager / Chef will also be expected to participate actively in problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
