Burger King, as a critical part of RBI’s portfolio, is seeking a motivated and experienced District Manager to join its Company Operations team. This leadership role holds operational oversight for five to six restaurant locations, with direct accountability for the Profit and Loss (P&L) statement. The District Manager will lead and mentor restaurant management teams to achieve and surpass business objectives, ensuring that every store operates at peak performance while upholding Burger King's high brand standards in food quality, cleanliness, safety, and customer service. This position offers the unique opportunity to work closely with the corporate office across multiple departments, including Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Technology, providing critical insights and feedback to enhance overall business performance. With a focus on operational excellence, the District Manager plays a pivotal role in driving sales growth, improving labor efficiencies, managing controllable costs, and sustaining a positive guest experience.
The successful candidate will be a strong business leader with proven ability to coach teams, optimize restaurant operations, and manage multi-unit profitability. They will be skilled in project management, organization, and communication, responsible for recruiting talent, promoting employee development, and fostering a culture of recognition and achievement. Ensuring compliance with wage and hour regulations and conducting regular restaurant audits to identify performance improvement opportunities are also key duties. Additionally, the District Manager supports corporate initiatives through pilot programs and facilitates open communication through weekly meetings with Restaurant General Managers to review results and implement strategies for continual improvement. This role requires a flexible schedule and the ability to travel regularly among assigned restaurant locations. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with candidates typically having 2-4 years of restaurant management or multi-unit experience.
