Within this prestigious setting, Four Seasons Hotel Silicon Valley is currently seeking to employ a Cook 3. This role is integral to maintaining the high culinary standards the hotel is known for. The successful candidate will demonstrate a solid foundational knowledge of culinary operations, be a cooperative team player, and exhibit meticulous attention to detail. Familiarity with both classic and modern culinary methods is essential, along with the ability to efficiently set up and break down culinary stations. The Cook 3 will be responsible for preparing a variety of food items including meats, seafood, poultry, and vegetables, ensuring all prepping follows Chef’s standards. The role requires maintaining a clean and sanitized station, consistent plate presentation, and adherence to departmental policies and service standards. Cleanliness, organization, and a commitment to quality and presentation are pivotal, as is maintaining a "clean as you go" work ethic. A positive, service-oriented attitude and a genuine desire to contribute to a cohesive team environment are highly valued. Ideal applicants will possess a combination of culinary education and practical experience or equivalent experience garnered through full-service fine dining. Physical demands include standing for long periods and the ability to bend, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. All candidates must provide valid work authorization for employment in the United States.
