As a Store Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you will be passionately engaged in serving people and their pets with exceptional, neighborly service at every opportunity. Your role will involve helping customers select the right toys, food, and accessories for their pets, providing expert advice tailored to each pet’s unique needs. Whether you are assisting a terrier owner in finding the perfect chewing toy, comparing ingredient labels of cat foods for a cautious cat parent, fitting a dachshund with a harness, educating children on bird ownership, or caring for the animals in the store, you will be at the heart of creating joyful pet ownership experiences. This position may involve specialization in cashiering, stocking, or pet care. As a cashier, you will process purchases accurately while promoting the Preferred Pet Club membership. Stockers will safely handle deliveries, keep shelves stocked with essentials, and help customers with loading purchases into their vehicles. Those focused on pet care will ensure the wellbeing of store animals, including feeding, cleaning habitats, and answering pet care questions from customers. Due to the physical nature of the role, it requires the ability to lift 40-65 lbs and stand for prolonged periods.
