As an Operations Generalist at Petco, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of the Pet Care Center, maintaining exceptional merchandising, inventory, and guest service standards. This position involves a dynamic range of responsibilities including working with shipments, stocking shelves, managing merchandise presentation, processing transactions at the cash register, and providing excellent customer service to enhance the overall guest experience. Working closely with the entire Pet Care team, your job goes beyond typical retail duties to include hands-on animal welfare support and contribution to a positive, collaborative work culture. The Operations Generalist will be responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring that all merchandise is correctly stocked, priced, and displayed to attract and satisfy customers. You will be expected to engage with guests using Petco’s proven selling behaviors, helping to identify their needs and recommend suitable products and services. • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent work experience
