The Kitchen Leader role is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about food and leadership within a vibrant and fast-paced kitchen environment. As a Kitchen Leader, you will learn essential culinary skills such as grilling meats, sautéing vegetables, and preparing delicious menu items that align with Chipotle's Food With Integrity philosophy. You will be responsible for maintaining the quality and safety of the kitchen operations, ensuring all food preparation meets strict quality standards. The role involves overseeing kitchen cleanliness, inventory monitoring, equipment maintenance, and adherence to safety guidelines. You will also play a key part in fostering teamwork between front-of-house and back-of-house crew members while serving as a role model who inspires and trains future Kitchen Leaders.
This position requires individuals to be proactive, detail-oriented, and ready to take on multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high energy on their feet. The Kitchen Leader will monitor food waste, resolve food quality issues, and uphold sanitary standards.
