The Wine Steward role at Invited is a key position within the Food and Beverage team, with a primary focus on elevating the dining experience for members and guests through expert wine service. This position requires a professional who can curate and present an extensive wine list, provide knowledgeable recommendations, and maintain impeccable standards in wine service. Reporting directly to the F&B/Beverage Director or Banquet/Restaurant Manager, the Wine Steward ensures that every aspect of wine presentation—from storage to service—is handled with precision and care. The individual in this role will play a crucial part in member satisfaction by offering personalized wine selections that compliment meals and enhance overall dining enjoyment. Beyond wine service, the Wine Steward will be responsible for maintaining and organizing wine inventory, ensuring proper storage and rotation, and performing daily side work including cleaning and stocking of wine-related equipment and supplies. The role also includes assisting with event setups and break-downs, requiring flexibility and teamwork. This is a dynamic position that involves continuous learning and adaptation to maintain expertise in wine knowledge, including varietals, pairings, and new arrivals or specials.   • Sommelier certification or coursework in wine knowledge
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
  • Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required
  • Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
