They manage operations including replenishment, inventory accuracy, food safety, presentation, pricing, and promotional processes within all food and beverage departments. As a Starbucks Barista at Target, you will provide a consistent Starbucks experience by curating handcrafted coffee and food items according to Starbucks’ quality standards. This role requires adherence to state and federal food safety and OSHA guidelines. Daily responsibilities involve delivering exceptional guest service by maintaining fresh and abundant product availability and prioritizing customer needs. The barista will uphold food and beverage standards, execute processes including food deliveries, replenishment, stock rotation, cleaning, and promotional signing, while remaining aware of current and future Starbucks promotions. Key duties include supporting the Starbucks Drive Up process to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of orders, maintaining an inviting dining environment for guests, producing handcrafted beverages and food items to specifications, and strictly following food safety requirements including temperature monitoring and sanitation tasks. Additionally, you will engage with guests warmly, assist with guest services such as order pickup and backup cashier duties, and contribute to maintaining a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance. This position is dynamic and requires flexibility to work varying schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times. The role demands physical stamina to work in fast-paced, often physically demanding environments, including handling merchandise, climbing ladders, and working in varying temperatures from cold storage to outdoor Drive-Up areas. Teamwork, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to solve problems creatively are essential to success. • capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc
• ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
