The role available at Swissport is for an experienced Bartender to join their team. The bartender will play a vital part in creating a welcoming and hospitable environment for travelers and guests in the aviation terminals. Responsibilities for this position include greeting customers warmly, preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and procedures, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area that complies with health and safety regulations. In addition to beverage preparation and customer interaction, the bartender will ensure inventory is well stocked and managed using FIFO rotation standards and assist with stock organization and deliveries as needed. This position demands an individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic setting and maintain exceptional service standards at all times. The role requires physical stamina to stand for long periods, perform tasks such as sweeping or mopping, and handle up to 50 lbs. The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with team members. Other requirements include being at least 21 years old, possessing a food handler's license and Responsible Beverage Service license or the willingness to obtain them, and passing a 10-year federal background check. Flexibility to work early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays is also essential. • Bartenders must be 21 years of age or older
• previous experience in bartending or similar role within the food or beverage industry required
• strong knowledge of various drink recipes mixology techniques and bar equipment
• good command of the English language both verbal and written
• high school diploma or equivalent
• reliable transportation to and from the airport
• able to lift 50 lbs. without assistance
• ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting
• physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift (8-10 hrs.)
• walking bending stooping twisting reaching pulling pushing kneeling and crouching
• positive attitude excellent communication and willingness to get along with co-workers
• ability to pass a 10 yr. federal background check
• food handler's license and responsible beverage service license or the ability to obtain
