Stifel Theatre hosts a variety of events including concerts, theatrical performances, and special engagements that demand seamless coordination and outstanding customer service. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to join our Guest Experience leadership team at Stifel Theatre. This full-time role is pivotal in ensuring smooth event operations and maintaining the highest standards of guest service reflective of the Stifel Theatre brand. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Guest Experience, the Front of House Manager will lead, develop, and motivate a large team of Guest Experience staff, manage front-of-house operations, and collaborate closely with Building Operations, Safety & Security, and Production teams. The position requires managing event staffing schedules, conducting staff briefings, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols to create a safe and memorable environment for guests. In this capacity, the Front of House Manager will be the primary point of contact for guest inquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly with professionalism. They will oversee crowd management, coordinate with event promoters and production managers, and manage special operations such as Premier and Loge Box parking staffing. Flexibility is essential as the manager may also serve as Manager On Duty (MOD) or assist with events at the Enterprise Center when required. The role demands strong leadership skills to foster a positive team culture and the ability to handle multiple priorities confidently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Safety and compliance are critical components of this position. The Front of House Manager will enforce guest and staff safety protocols, maintain equipment readiness, and collaborate with Safety & Security and Building Operations to manage incidents and emergencies effectively. Administrative responsibilities include tracking staffing hours, preparing estimates, generating post-event reports, and maintaining team standards regarding appearance, conduct, and performance. Continuous professional development is encouraged, with requirements to complete annual security officer re-certification and participate in regular management and leadership training. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field, or equivalent leadership experience in live entertainment venues or hospitality industries. Demonstrated success in managing and motivating part-time teams, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with technology tools are essential. A flexible schedule inclusive of evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Physical ability to stand or walk for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds is also necessary. Certifications in CPR, First Aid, or crowd management are preferred or willingness to obtain them.
