The position available is for a Guest Services Associate - Front Office, classified as a Non-Exempt role, reporting directly to the Front Desk Manager. The Guest Services Associate acts as the first point of contact for guests and plays a vital role in managing all stages of their visit. Responsibilities include welcoming guests, efficiently processing check-ins and check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and courtesy. This role requires an individual with excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.
In this role, the associate is tasked with managing a variety of front desk duties including answering and transferring calls, providing information about local attractions, managing guest requests, processing payments, and coordinating with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. The position demands a flexible schedule with the ability to work evenings, holidays, and weekends to accommodate the needs of the business. Candidates with experience in the resort or hotel industry, especially those familiar with timeshare operations, will find this role particularly suited to their skills.
The environment requires someone capable of multitasking, balancing cash drawers, performing nightly audits, managing reservations, and handling communication with guests and property owners. The position also involves inventory management responsibilities such as ordering office supplies and managing rental confirmations. As a guest-facing role, excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential along with the ability to listen actively and solve problems efficiently. Bilingual skills are considered an advantage.
