This role is an exciting opportunity within the Inflight Division, specifically as the Senior Manager of Inflight Training Operations. The position leads a motivated and high-performing team responsible for designing, executing, and maintaining comprehensive inflight training programs for Flight Attendants and Inflight Management staff. These programs include Initial Qualification Training (IQT), Continuing Qualification (CQ), and supplemental training initiatives, ensuring the team delivers top-notch service while strictly adhering to FAA regulatory standards. This role not only involves operational leadership but also strategic development using performance data to define goals, monitor progress, and drive continuous improvement. Serving as the primary liaison with the FAA for training compliance and equipment approvals, this position requires strong leadership skills to oversee hiring, onboarding, staff development, and performance management.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 7 years of experience in airline industry or management role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong coaching and counseling capabilities
  • Experience collaborating effectively across multiple departments
  • Ability to lead and motivate large teams
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations and compliance
  • Knowledge of APFA work rules preferred
  • Experience in Flight Service department preferred
