Provo City is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sports Program Coordinator to join its Recreation Department. This full-time, regular position offers competitive compensation ranging from $23.09 to $36.86 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. The role plays a crucial part in the planning, organizing, implementation, and evaluation of a wide range of recreational, athletic, and special event programs for the community. The Sports Program Coordinator will be responsible for developing program policies, managing registration processes, supervising staff, and collaborating with other team members to deliver superior recreational experiences. - Bachelor's degree in recreation, physical education, or closely related field
- Valid, lawful driver license
- An equivalent combination of job-related education and experience may be substituted (one year of post-secondary education/training for six months of experience)
- 1 year of experience in recreational program management for Level II
- 3 years of experience in recreational program management for Level III
- NRPA Certified Parks and Recreation Professional for Level III
- NAYS Certified Youth Sports Administrator preferred for Level III
