The Player Development Coordinator role at DDC is pivotal in advancing the Player Development Department's goals through careful coordination and meticulous administration. Reporting directly to the Events Manager, the coordinator plays an essential part in ensuring seamless execution of various player-centered activities and promotions aimed at attracting and retaining VIP guests. This position requires a blend of organizational, communication, and administrative skills to manage daily tasks efficiently and maintain strong relationships with high-value players. A primary responsibility of the Player Development Coordinator involves managing all administrative components related to player development including record keeping, system updates, and working closely with VIP guests at the main desk during shifts. Additionally, the coordinator supports event management by assisting with promotions and coordinating reservations for dinners, hotel stays, and attendance at VIP events. This role demands a proactive attitude in maintaining accurate player account information while fostering positive communication within the team and with external contacts. Candidates for this role should be able to thrive in a fast-paced casino and office environment where exposure to high noise levels and second-hand smoke is common. The job also involves physical activities such as sitting, standing, walking, and occasionally lifting items up to 25 pounds. Flexibility in working hours, including evenings, weekends, graveyards, and holidays, is necessary to meet operational demands.
