Urban Air Southcenter is currently seeking a dedicated General Manager to lead and inspire their team. This leadership role is essential for maintaining the park's dynamic and fun culture while achieving operational success. The General Manager will have overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations, driving initiatives, and upholding the highest standards for guest experiences and employee engagement. This position requires a proactive leader who can motivate staff, instill accountability, and implement effective strategies to meet and exceed financial and operational goals. The General Manager will be instrumental in hiring, training, and mentoring staff, fostering a team environment that promotes exceptional customer service. They will execute staff training programs and develop future leaders within the organization, including Area Leads and Certified Trainers. The role emphasizes cultivating a positive atmosphere by leveraging individual strengths and encouraging high productivity. A key part of the responsibilities includes maintaining a vibrant community presence through partnerships with local organizations. Operationally, the General Manager will ensure a safe, clean, and secure environment for both guests and employees. This includes overseeing entertainment, food and beverage services, attractions, and property management in alignment with the company’s financial goals. The ideal candidate will focus on continuous improvement, adherence to operating standards, and positive employee relations. They will support franchise owners by holding managers accountable to departmental goals and monitor guest feedback to enhance service delivery consistently. Financial stewardship is also a critical component of the role. The General Manager must capitalize on business opportunities by implementing marketing strategies and maintaining robust inventory control systems. Ensuring appropriate staffing levels to maximize customer experience while managing labor costs is essential. They will analyze financial reports to create action plans that grow revenue and control expenses to meet or exceed annual budgets. Candidates successful in this role will demonstrate strong leadership qualities, excellent decision-making skills, and a passion for developing others. Experience in hospitality industries such as theme parks, family entertainment centers, hotels, resorts, casinos, or restaurants is required, along with at least three years of facility operations and management experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and excellent communication skills are necessary for effective reporting and team collaboration. The General Manager must be able to establish and communicate a clear vision for the park while inspiring a diverse team to achieve business objectives.
