The Ramp Agent will be responsible for handling, loading, unloading, and directing aircraft on the tarmac, maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols throughout the process. This position requires physical stamina and attention to detail, as Ramp Agents manage baggage, air cargo, airmail, and company materials while safeguarding them from damage, theft, or weather-related issues. Besides the manual labor involved, the role also involves operating specialized ground support equipment such as pushback tugs, belt loaders, and deicers, requiring operational competence and coordination with fellow ground crew members. Ramp Agents are also tasked with maintaining accurate records related to cargo and baggage, ensuring all documentation aligns with company policies and regulatory requirements. Effective communication with other airport staff is essential to the position, including receiving instructions via radio and providing guidance during aircraft pushbacks. The position demands resilience to work in varying physical conditions, such as confined spaces, high places, and outside in different weather conditions, while frequently lifting heavy items. Employment for the Ramp Agent role involves completing ramp and security identification display area (SIDA) training to gain airport authority clearance. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid in-state driver's license, and be authorized to work in the United States.   • must complete ramp and SIDA training to obtain airport authority identification security
  • must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and move items of 70 pounds and/or more on a regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
  • must be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods
  • must be able to work in cramped or high places
