This role is focused on maintaining the efficient operation of bar services within Boyd Gaming's establishments. The position involves the crucial task of ensuring that all bar stock levels are adequately maintained through transporting beverage cases, preparing requisitions, and keeping essential bar supplies such as ice, glassware, and garnishes well stocked. Attention to cleanliness and orderly maintenance of bar areas is also essential, as is rotating fresh fruit to guarantee quality drink presentation. Responsibilities extend to handling kegs of beer, managing cooler inventory, disposing of waste properly, and responding promptly to beverage orders from guests, servers, and bartenders.
Moreover, the role requires hands-on preparation of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks following standardized recipes, operating cash registers, and completing transactions accurately. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, proper handling of stock and supplies, and adherence to company standards and safety practices. This position requires physical stamina, including the ability to stand, walk throughout shifts, and lift items up to 50 pounds regularly. Excellent customer service and communication skills are vital to ensure a positive guest experience and smooth workflow.
