The Food and Drink Server role within HOB Entertainment is a dynamic position focused on delivering outstanding service during dinners and special events. This role is centered around interacting positively and efficiently with guests, ensuring an exceptional dining and entertainment experience. Key responsibilities include preparing event setups such as arranging tablecloths, place settings, and buffets, serving food and beverages with professionalism, and maintaining an attentive presence by anticipating guest needs. Servers will be expected to manage multiple tables effectively, keeping glasses filled, plates cleared promptly, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment throughout the service. This role demands a high level of guest relations skills, a friendly and upbeat attitude, and the ability to resolve guest concerns swiftly and positively. Additionally, maintaining House of Blues' safety and sanitation standards is critical, alongside performing opening, running, and closing duties as per company policies. This position requires working in a fast-paced, often loud, and sometimes stressful environment, necessitating prolonged periods of standing and physical stamina. Applicants should be prepared to lift or move up to 25 pounds using proper techniques.   • Possess a valid CA Food Handlers Card
  • Have 2-5 years of experience in high volume restaurant operations
  • Knowledge of safe and responsible alcohol service
  • Ability to perform standard food preparation and presentation
  • Strong guest relations skills
  • Understanding of wine and liquor
  • Ability to manage multiple tables efficiently with a friendly attitude
  • High School Diploma
