This position of Sous Chef is an integral role within the culinary team, supporting the Executive Chef to ensure the smooth and successful operation of the culinary department. The Sous Chef will play a vital part in supervising food preparation and cooking, developing menus, and maintaining rigorous culinary standards to guarantee food quality and safety. The role operates on a Sunday to Thursday schedule from 11am to 9pm, with flexibility needed for special catering events such as football camps, large parties, and recruiting functions. Responsibilities include assisting with menu planning and cost control, executing catering events, and rolling out new culinary programs alongside marketing and culinary teams. Additionally, the Sous Chef will lead and coach kitchen staff, oversee sanitation and performance standards, monitor inventory and food waste, and handle training and team break management. - Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ years in a culinary leadership role
- Experience in high-volume foodservice and catering environments

- ServSafe certification preferred
