The position involves supporting the Chef in managing inventory and orders and efficiently assigning prep lists to kitchen staff, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to safety and sanitation standards. The successful candidate will be expected to manage labor through forecasting and scheduling, monitoring revenue, and making necessary adjustments to maintain operational balance. A crucial element of the position is training and mentoring team members to comprehend and consistently deliver menu items with quality and precision in presentation. The role also requires versatility and hands-on skills to work across various kitchen stations during peak hours and train service staff like expo and runners to uphold food quality standards. • High school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in fine dining hospitality and/or casual dining restaurant
• Able to multi-task
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift 25 lbs, and bend, climb or work in confined spaces
• Customer service focused and solution oriented
• Must enjoy and be able to succeed in a fast-paced work environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on restaurant needs
