At UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO, Sodexo is currently seeking a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join their culinary team. This role is pivotal in managing the culinary operations within the hospital, overseeing a team of approximately 25 employees. The Sous Chef, also referred to as the Chef Manager, will be responsible for implementing and standardizing culinary systems and procedures that align with the hospital's standards and client needs. The position demands a dynamic culinary leader who can support and mentor frontline staff while ensuring high-quality food services are delivered consistently.
The Sous Chef role encompasses various responsibilities that require both culinary expertise and leadership skills. From procurement and purchasing to menu creation based on client preferences and nutritional requirements, this position offers a chance to shape the hospital’s culinary offerings. Moreover, building and maintaining positive interpersonal relationships with clients is essential to meet expectations and foster ongoing collaboration. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working in high-volume culinary environments and experience in culinary leadership roles such as Kitchen Manager or Sous Chef.
