We are currently seeking a professional Sous Chef to join our team, a critical leadership role within our kitchen hierarchy. The Sous Chef will act as the second in command within our kitchen, working closely under the Executive Chef’s guidance and specifications. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating mastery over various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and kitchen procedures. Furthermore, they will be capable of handling emergency situations calmly and accurately, employing industry best practices to resolve challenges effectively. Familiarity with computer software relevant to restaurant operations, such as MS Office, restaurant management software, and POS systems, is essential for managing inventory and reporting. A degree in Culinary Science or related certification is considered a plus, reflecting a strong foundation in culinary arts and technique.
