We are currently seeking a highly motivated Sous Chef to join our team at the PIMCO location in Newport Beach. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic kitchen environment where creativity and attention to detail are paramount. The Sous Chef will play a critical role in supporting the Executive Chef in managing daily culinary operations across multiple dining platforms including cafe, catering, and executive dining programs.
The ideal candidate will bring at least three years of culinary leadership experience, preferably in high-volume or fine-dining settings, with a proven track record in full-scratch cooking, menu innovation, and event catering. This position demands a hands-on approach to kitchen management, including training, coaching, and development of culinary staff to uphold Wolfgang Puck Catering's high standards. The Sous Chef will ensure compliance with all food safety, labor, and company policies, and foster strong collaborations with front-of-house and client teams to deliver seamless dining experiences.
This full-time position offers a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 and is designed for those who value work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule and early morning shifts, without nights or weekends.
