The Concierge role within Planned Companies is designed to be a vital point of contact for tenants, guests, and vendors entering the property. Scheduled mainly for weekend shifts, including Saturdays from 9am to 6pm and Sunday and Monday nights from 11pm to 7am, this position offers a competitive pay rate of $18.00 per hour. The concierge’s primary responsibility is to ensure the smooth operation of the front desk, provide exceptional service, and contribute to a safe, secure, and pleasant environment for all building occupants. The Concierge will greet, announce, and guide tenants, visitors, and vendors with professionalism and friendliness, creating a positive and memorable experience. Beyond basic reception duties, this role involves developing personal relationships with tenants to offer tailored services that align with their unique lifestyles and preferences. This includes assisting with restaurant, business, hotel, and entertainment reservations, organizing on-site events, and providing referrals for local attractions and services. The Concierge also manages logistical tasks such as documenting and securing mail, handling deliveries, monitoring the lobby, managing access control systems like keys and access cards, and answering telephones efficiently. The ideal candidate for this position will bring over three years of customer service experience, demonstrating excellent written and verbal communication skills along with basic computer proficiency. A deep knowledge of local attractions, establishments, and services is essential to effectively respond to tenant inquiries and enhance their living experience. The role requires someone polite, friendly, self-assured, and adept at multitasking with good time-management skills, plus the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs when necessary.
