Highgate Hotels is currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Sommelier to join their hospitality team. This role involves overseeing the wine menu, curating wine lists, and providing expert recommendations to guests on the best wine and food pairings. The Sommelier will work closely with chefs and management to upgrade wine selections and ensure a flawless wine service experience. The ideal candidate will exhibit a true passion for wine, particularly possessing an extensive knowledge of Old World wines, as well as the ability to create exceptional dining experiences through thoughtful wine pairings. Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, dynamic personality are essential, as the Sommelier will interact directly with guests and lead training for team members on the wine program.
This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $23 to $25 per hour, reflective of the candidate’s experience and expertise.
