This is a full-time position with an hourly wage of $14.00 to $16.00. The Service Porter plays a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and safety of the service areas within the dealership. The responsibilities extend to ensuring that the service department, repair shop, customer lounges, and common areas reflect the high standards expected by OKCARZ. The Service Porter helps create a welcoming environment that prioritizes customer care and professional appearance. A typical day for a Service Porter involves various duties such as dumping trash cans, cleaning the shop as needed, and moving used tires to the designated disposal area. They also help maintain the parking lot by picking up trash and disposing of scrap metal properly. The role requires ensuring that all employee restrooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies and that boxes from both the shop and parts department are broken down and recycled appropriately. As part of their duties, Service Porters may assist the Parts Department as needed and help with moving vehicles around the lot.
